Christian Gospel Mission (hereinafter "the CGM") values the personal information of users of the CGM's platform services (hereinafter "Platform Services"), which are wired and wireless internet content services, and strives to protect and manage it safely and effectively. "Platform Services" refers to all online and mobile services directly operated by the CGM or entrusted to third parties, including CGM integrated services. To protect the personal information of Platform Service users, the CGM complies with the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection," the "Personal Information Protection Act," and related laws and regulations, and announces the following Privacy Policy.
① "Personal information" refers to information related to a living individual, such as name and contact details, that can be used to identify a specific person (including information that, when combined with other data, can identify a specific individual even if it alone cannot).
② The "Platform Service" provides a procedure that allows users to click an "Agree" or "Cancel" button regarding the contents of the Privacy Policy or Terms of Service at the time of registration. Clicking the "Agree" button is considered as consent to the collection of personal information.
The "CGM" does not disclose users' personal information without prior consent, and uses the collected information as follows:
① Based on the personal information provided by users, more useful services can be developed. When developing new services or expanding content, the "CGM" can more efficiently prioritize services to be developed and reasonably select and provide content that users need.
② The "CGM" collects personal information for the following purposes, and some items may be optionally provided by members depending on the service.
• Member Management: User identification, identity verification, member grade (general/associate/full member) calculation and authorization, prevention of fraudulent use by problematic members, verification of children under age 14.③ Sensitive personal information that may infringe on users' fundamental human rights is not collected in principle. However, additional personal information may be collected for warning or withdrawal actions against users who violate platform operation policies and terms.
The "CGM" collects the minimum amount of personal information necessary for service provision and processes it based on user consent.
① General Member Information (Required): Name, ID, password, date of birth, gender, contact information (email, mobile phone number).
② Religious Activity and Sensitive Information (Optional / Required upon promotion): Affiliated church and department, mission name, worship attendance history, education/lecture enrollment status, Bible study progress, mission and event participation history, religious activity records for member grade calculation.
③ Faith Management and Counseling Information (Optional): Evangelism motivation, faith background/areas of interest, nurturing stage, faith concerns and counseling requests, counseling progress history.
④ Automatically Collected Items: Access IP, visit date/time, service usage records, access device information (model name, OS), cookies.
⑤ Other: Referral information (when voluntarily entered by the registrant), information related to usage support delegation (when registering on behalf of another).
The "CGM" does not provide users' personal information to external parties in principle, but may do so in the following cases only when the member has explicitly consented.
| Recipient | Purpose of Provision | Items Provided | Retention & Use Period |
| Affiliated Church | Membership verification, local community linkage, member management and counseling support | Name, date of birth, contact information, church information, registration date, member status | 1 year from provision date or until withdrawal |
| Explicitly selected external platform/institution | External service integration and management of applied events/programs | Name, contact information, and minimum items necessary for service provision | Until the purpose is achieved |
※ The "CGM" clearly notifies users of the relevant institution name at the time of external service integration and obtains additional consent.
The "CGM" implements necessary technical and administrative measures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations for the protection and security of personal information. Personal information is encrypted and managed, access rights are minimized, and regular security inspections are conducted.
① Delegation: There are currently no external contractors. However, if delegation occurs in the future for platform maintenance and data storage, the trustee and scope of work will be notified through this policy.
② Usage Support Delegation (Proxy Registration): A usage support delegate designated by members who have difficulty using digital devices (elderly, disabled persons, etc.) may perform registration support, information viewing, and proxy entry of activity records within the delegated scope. The "CGM" minimizes the delegate's access rights and strictly manages access records.
Users may view or correct their registered personal information at any time. This can be handled directly through the "My Information" screen after logging in.
Users may withdraw their consent to the collection and use of personal information at any time. This can be applied directly through "Membership Cancellation (Membership Withdrawal)."
· Available through the "More > Membership Withdrawal" menu after logging in.
① Purpose and Items of Processing: With user consent, the CGM utilizes the device's location function (GPS, etc.) while the app is displayed on the screen (foreground state) to provide the "automatic attendance check function by verifying your arrival at church."
② Processing Method (Foreground Only): This app does not request or collect background location permissions at the system level whatsoever. Location information is processed only temporarily when the user brings the app to the foreground and activates the relevant function.
③ Retention and Disposal of Personal Location Information: The user's real-time location coordinates are used only temporarily for in-device calculations to determine attendance, and are neither transmitted to nor stored on servers — they are immediately discarded. However, the final result generated through location information — the "attendance confirmation result (attendance status, date/time)" — is safely retained as a service provision record until membership withdrawal or the notified retention period.
④ User Rights and Exercise Methods: Users may withdraw their consent to the collection and use of personal location information at any time through the device's own settings or in-app settings (More > Settings > Location-based Automatic Attendance Check). When consent is withdrawn or the app is closed, foreground location information processing will immediately stop.
① Upon Membership Withdrawal: Personal information is deleted immediately in principle.
② Prevention of Fraudulent Use: To prevent malicious re-registration and fraudulent use, IDs and mobile phone numbers are retained for 5 months after withdrawal and then automatically deleted.
③ Compliance with Laws and Regulations: If regulations exist in relevant laws and regulations such as the Commercial Act, information is retained for the applicable period.
The "CGM" takes various measures for personal information protection, including encryption of passwords and key data, transmission section encryption (SSL), operation of intrusion prevention systems, and minimization of access rights.
